COUNTRY BONES Country Bones plays hard-driving Americana truck-driving music familiar to fans who love classic bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, George Hamilton IV and Dave Dudley. The songs are performed with exceptional musicianship and written by lead singer Larry “Bones” Dennison. Lyrics are fresh, irreverent and expressed with a sense of humor. Country Bones is destined to become one of the new “outlaws” of country music. Born in Creve Coeur, Missouri, Bones gets back to his country roots after years of touring internationally and performing on albums for such diverse artists as Lita Ford, Dio and Robert Bradley’s Blackwater Surprise. He joins forces with hometown childhood friend, Richard Fortus, who has been playing guitar with Guns N’ Roses since 2002. Grammy Award-winning musician J.D. Maness, who also plays with Merle Haggard, adds standout pedal steel guitar. The album is produced by multi-platinum producer Bruce Robb (Shelby Lynne, John Cougar Mellencamp, Levon Helm). “I’ve always loved truck driving country, like ‘Hot Rod Lincoln’ by Charlie Ryan. It’s music that just makes you feel good,” says producer Robb. The single and title track to the new album “Let It Ride” will be released on iTunes Tuesday April 28th; the same day Country Bones makes their national television debut on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. A 4-song EP, both of which are coming out on Quarter 2 Three Records, will immediately follow the single. “Life is a ride, a spinning wheel, you never know when your gonna get off. So, let it ride!” – Country Bones
